Soy is absent in most of our creations, and we offer a special selection of sugar-free and paleo delicacies.
Finally - if you're a regular ol' dude with no special ingredient restrictions or preferences, then you'll find that while we seem to characterize ourselves by our sensitivity to food sensitivities, our greatest attention is on the QUALITY and TASTE of everything we put on the table.
Either way we're convinced you will experience the difference it makes when the food you eat is made with a deliberate care and conscience for the natural qualities of the ingredients used to make it.
Live entertainment happens regularly at the Grind - check our Events page to see what's coming up. We've enjoyed an ever-increasing influx of talent in the form of acoustic (folk and bluegrass), electronic (ambient, experimental), chamber, jazz, hip-hop, hard core and DJs from all over the globe, as well as a regular GRINDR Comedy show. That's in addition to the poetry readings, writers groups, cyphers, etc.
Any night (or day) of the week you can come with a group, order food and drinks and play some Atari, Chess or other board games in your own room upstairs - better yet, book a room for a private party or meeting.
The Daily Grind is located in Chinatown, Centretown, Ottawa at 601 Somerset St. W. - between Bronson and Bay St.
There's plenty of metered parking on Somerset St. as well as on the side streets, and the OC Transpo Bus stops directly in front of the Cafe.
